Have you looked at people constantly blogging about their businesses and you think, where do they find the time to blog, syndicate, promote and do all their other work? Well, the answer to this is really simple! If you use the correct tools and promote your blog on the correct platforms, it literally takes you five minutes, and I’m here to share with you the tools I use on how to promote your blog within 5 minutes so you can focus on income producing activities.
Ready? Here we go.
Once you have published your blog for that day. Note I say that day as you do this everyday, go to Indexkings.com and submit your URL for indexing and it creates back links to your blog. Back links are extremely important and will send traffic to your blog. This specific site actually submits it to 15 000 static sites, which is a bonus for you.!
- Linkedin Syndication
If you use a tool called Addthis. It has a very nice feature whereby you are able to click one share button to Linkedin, and it will prompt you if you just want to post an update, or if you would like to share it with your contacts as well as the groups that you belong to. This is a very valuable feature as it takes less than one minute to select the groups and with a push of a button its posted in all the groups the blog has relevance too.
Bonus tip:. This raises your profile immensely within the groups and you become a top influencer adding value to your community.
- Submit a link to Digg
Digg, is an awesome platform for curating content, and does the sifting for you. Many people use Digg in order to get the latest news online that is quality. Submit your blog link to them, and if approved they would syndicate it through their network, which can result in massive traffic even for you to your blog, so ensure your blog has sufficient and quality content.
- Facebook Groups
Spamming is not a nice thing, and nobody wants to be sold to everyday. Focus on value first and thus if you belong to a range of Facebook groups , and your blog has relevance to them, you can share the blog with them within all these groups and in return you will get blog traffic, of course if the blog post has been valuable to that groups that you have posted in.
Don’t spam other groups that will have no relevance to the blog topic at all.
- Content Syndication software.
If you have invested in tools such as Socialoomph or Sprout Social or Hootsuite, these content syndication tools have been designed specifically to take the headache out of syndication and maximize your time. By copying in your blog posts URL, you can syndicate this to the various social networks in one click, literally, if you have setup your online social accounts on any of these platforms
- Facebook Ads
Many people choose to promote their blog posts as Facebook ads in order to attract a certain caliber target market. This is also a very valuable tool for driving consistant promotion to your site, of course dependent upon the
- Buffer App
Buffer is an awesome app, that enables you to share from your phone or laptop. Once you have done your blog post, you can literally in one second share your blog post to the social media platforms. This is of course a free service, but you can upgrade to a playing module if you so choose. You may ask what is the difference between that and Sprout Social? Its purely an analytics reporting thing, and is actually a very handy tool in order to build your business online.
